Finora is built on a foundation of trust. Because you share sensitive personal finance data with us — balances, loans, savings goals, and investment records — we hold ourselves to an exceptionally high standard of privacy and security.
What we collect: When you create a Finora account we collect your email address and the financial data you manually enter (balances, loan amounts, savings targets, asset records). We do not connect to or read from any external bank, broker, or financial institution. All data you see in Finora is data you have entered yourself.
How we use your data: Your financial data is used solely to calculate totals, trends, and projections shown to you inside the app. We do not sell, license, or share your personal financial information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
Data storage & security: All data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases protected by row-level security (RLS). Data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Only you can access your own records.
Cookies & analytics: Finora uses minimal, anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage counts) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in these analytics events. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention & deletion: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request full account deletion at any time by contacting us; all associated records will be permanently removed within 30 days.
